- A stunning house in the perfect location! This was a great spot from which to explore this part of the coast. As other reviewers have said, the drive to the property is steep but paved, and there is a long set of stairs from the parking spot to the house. The house is beautifully decorated and has all of the appliances you will need. The property manager was available when we needed him and gave us great recommendations to local restaurants. - Saw monkeys, toucans, and agouti from the deck/pool. Yes you can hear road noise sometimes but you can also hear waves breaking on the beach. Beautiful view of the pacific. The Soda by the entrance serves delicious food and you can walk to it if you don’t mind hills. Great value for my extended family. - Erin, S.

- Our family stayed for 6 nights. We were able to do a lot in the area with our rental car. The house is in a private community with security. The view to the ocean is nicer in person. We had lots of humming birds visit and toucans in the distance. Everything worked well. Esteban the host was great. We would recommend the house. - Alexander, H.

Tropical Paradise - This was exactly what we needed after a delayed vacation due to a blizzard and delayed flight at home. I cant even emphasize enough the beauty and comfort of this home. We moved in and enjoyed all of the amenities, from the hot tub to the tiki bar to the bbq grill, not to mention the refreshing and spacious infinity pool. The master suites were dreamy! Loved the view as well. If you have the chance, stay here and treat yourself to this paradise property. - Diana, L.

Beautiful Property - Pacifica is a beautiful property located between Dominical and Matapalo. The infinity pool is surrounded by trees and the sounds of the Costa Rican jungle, with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. The outdoor spaces of the house were great for four adults. Sunsets were particularly special. Kitchen was fully-stocked with pots/pans/utensils to cook meals and the interior appointments were lovely. Some local notes: the Soda at the end of the road "El Ticanero" was GREAT for breakfast. You must hit-up the fish market under the bridge in Dominical for huge red snapper filets, the ceviche shacks along the road near the entrance to Dominical are delicious, and you must check out El Pavon waterfall (about 30 minutes south of the house) in the town of Ojochal. Do note that this house has two flights of stairs from the driveway to the front door - so pack your luggage (or your grocery runs) accordingly. There is also a flight of stairs down to the pool, so this might not be the best house for elderly or disabled. We did note that the tile on the stairs and on the upper porch is very slick when wet, so be careful. As someone who has stayed at numerous properties throughout the Uvita/Baru/Dominical area, I have a good base of comparison. Pacifica (while conveniently located) is close to the main highway. Throughout our pool days and in the evening, we could hear motorcycles and trucks breaking. This might seem like a small detail, but when you have stayed higher up in the mountains, these noises do distract from the orchestra of birds and monkeys. We were frustrated that one of the master bedrooms had a broken A/C, and were informed that it could not be fixed due to a part that was being delivered after our departure. We were also frustrated that the pool light did not work in the evening. For the price we paid, these items should have been checked before arrival. Overall, Costa Rica was a phenomenal experience (which is why we come back year after year). The house, while lovely, just did not meet our expectations this time and will look to stay in higher elevations to avoid the noise of the highway - with the hopes of a working A/C in the bedroom. - Daxus N.

"Perfect place in Paradise with unbelievable Sunsets" - The most beautiful location with unbelievable sunsets...joined by Toucan visits each day, the incredible playa Linda & great resturants close by. Very spacious & exactly how I would design my vacation get away! Oscar is always at your service & able to provide or answer all your needs. Great place to relax, enjoy a private massage with the sounds of birds all around, or take a dip in the pool with a cold drink & watch the sunset. Recommend dinner prepared by the fabulous chef at least once. A truely amazing place to stay while enjoying your Costa Rican experience! Extra note: The owner is a wonderful photographer & shares his wildlife experiences inside the home & his place allows you to see the beauty outside as well. If you enjoy nature you will enjoy hiking up & down the secure property. - Mosburg T.

Wonderful View & Setup - House is perfectly setup with everything you need including Oscar who does an amazing job making sure you are well taken care of. The oceanview, sunset & bird life there is what makes me return to Costa Rica each year. The additional cost for chef that prepares your dinner Is fabulous & the onsite massage was awesome! The whole family was thrilled whenever the Toucans showed up along with the other birds. We stayed for the Christmas holiday which is a little hotter than we prefer but, the Villa Pacifica has a nice pool to cool off & get refreshed in. I cannot say enough about Oscar as he assisted with any questions, getting a shuttle for us & a car delivered once we arrived. Thank you for a wonderful vacation! - Tiffany M.
