- This house was perfect! We had two families staying here and it gave us the perfect amount of privacy being on two separate ends of the house! The house was so clean and had everything we needed! The view was spectacular and the photos do not do it justice! Every morning we sat with our coffee watching toucans, hawks, aracaris, hummingbirds, coatis, capuchin monkeys and so much more. It was super close to pozo azul, a really fun waterfall/swimming hole with a rope swing. We went several days in a row and had the waterfall to ourselves. - El lugar es hermoso, tal y como se ve en las fotos, tiene una vista al mar y a la montaña inigualables, tuvimos la oportunidad de ver muchos tucanes también. La casa es hermosa, muy espaciosa y muy limpia y bien equipada con todo lo que necesitamos para nuestra estadía. Nuestro anfitrión Oscar fue muy atento en todo momento, preocupándose porque disfrutáramos nuestra estadía y llegáramos bien a la casa, incluso nos recogieron en un punto para guiarnos hasta el lugar. - The pictures really don’t do the house justice. The view is absolutely stunning and the little plunge pool was delightful. The house is nicely appointed and very comfortable. The kitchen is fantastic and pretty well stocked with pans, utensils, etc. The AC cranks beautifully! Only drawback was the lack of modern plumbing (you gotta toss your toilet tissue in the trash), but otherwise this place is fantastic! - Cathy K.

Ivan, the concierge, was very welcoming and helpful, and escorted us from Dominical upon arrival so that we had no problem finding the place. The villa was immaculately clean, modern, lots of natural light and roomy with an incredible view. We really appreciated the complementary groceries upon arrival. Highlights were the pool, sunsets and listening to all the jungle sounds in the evenings...and surprisingly no mosquitoes, which made sitting out at night a pleasure. - Stayed here with my four girlfriends and we had a wonderful time. Our concierge was Ivan- he was friendly, quick to respond, and willing to help with whatever we needed. The location was great- we rented a 4x4 which turned out to be super helpful throughout our stay in Costa Rica. You are about 10 minutes away from Dominical which has a cute market and shops. The beach down there is not the nicest around but you cant beat the location. It took us about 50 minutes to get to Manuel Antonio but it is an easy, straightforward drive. Check out the Alturas animal sanctuary, it is 7 minutes away. It is great and the restaurant attached is delicious- they also have an amazing view! Every night we had a gorgeous sunset. We loved the pool and the greenery surrounding us. Saw several toucans and heard all sorts of monkeys!! Overall, I would absolutely recommend this villa. - Katie S.

Impresionantes Vistas! - El lugar es inmejorable, con una vista impresionante... apenas para ver el atardecer en el Pacífico. La casa cuenta con todas las facilidades, y es completamente privada por lo que sólo se escucha el ruido de los pájaros o los monos. The mini mall grocery store right in Dominical (5min drive from the house) was a great place to get groceries. Dominical was the perfect place for our first trip to Costa Rica. Breathtaking Views and Sunsets - Pura Vida! This was my first time in Costa Rica. The house was great! What makes the house amazing though is the views of the ocean and the sunsets by the pool!! It is located on top of this huge hill in the middle of the jungle, you are able to hear the animals at night. The drive is about 5 mins up this steep dirt hill from the main highway. Make sure you have a 4x4 vehicle to get up and down all the hills in Costa Rica. It is worth it. You have privacy, for the most part, there is another rental located next door though. The house is located between Dominical and Uvita, great location, there are plenty of dining options between the two towns. Oscar is the concierge and is only a call or an email away to help with anything you need. The house is modern and has a really spacious living area. A big fridge to store any food or drinks. You can cook in the kitchen, there is also a gas grill next to the pool. The infinity pool is refreshing to cool off in. The A/C worked great, there is a separate A/C unit in every room. There is Wi-fi, it is a little slow, but it is slow anywhere in Costa Rica. They have plenty of beach towels. If you run out of clean towels or clean clothes, the washer and dryer were perfect to do any laundry. There is a security system you can arm whenever you leave the house. I cannot think of anything else. We stayed in a few different towns while in Costa Rica, this was the only vacation rental we stayed at during our stay versus the hotels we stayed at in other cities. I will definitely return to Costa Rica and would stay at this place again. - Staley H.

Wonderful Stay - The site is beautiful, the house is beautiful and well designed, the master bedroom is at the end of the house and the other 2 bedrooms at the other end. The rooms are all equipped with large patio doors with breathtaking views of the sea, the mountains, the sunset is exceptional! Oscar was available and he joined us at the supermarket to bring us to the villa since it is in the mountains. For the evening of December 31, we booked a chef at home which we recommend and we really enjoyed the experience! A wonderful stay, I would go back without hesitation! Pura vida - Sophie B.

Awesome First Impression - We rented Estebans place for 3 nights to celebrate Christmas with family. We met with Oscar who was the primary contact to be shown to the house and given the keys. He was very welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. When we walked into the house my first impression was WOW!! The million dollar view will make you never want to leave. The place was impeccably clean and had everything we needed to feel right at home. The location is perfect with relatively easy access to beaches and the town but up the hill just a bit to appreciate the view and breezy climate. We had a wonderful time. Million Dollar View - Outside area fantastic. The view is amazing. The interior of the villa is rather underwhelming, feels very sparsely furnished with no lamps, pictures etc. There is another villa in close proximity and for our stay the peace and tranquillity was spoilt by their constant playing of loud music. In a great location but access is up a very steep road. The villa is built in the forest and monkeys were in the trees outside one morning. A good way to end a busy holiday. - Nina S.

Jaw dropping views!! - Absolutely stunning house the location is very secluded but that was exactly what we were looking for in Costa Rica, house is modern, clean, comfortable... I went with my 2 sons 26 and 17yrs to celebrate his birthday in a nature place....and they were amazed, they didnt want to leave the house at all.. Oscar helped setting us also with 2 tours in Uvita and dominical the towns close to where the house is situated and they were perfect, professional and so welcoming also in those tours the wild water rafting and the ATV tour. I definitely recommend this house for families or couples , it will not disappoint and cannot wait to go back! - Maria G.

- It was an absolute dream for our family of 4 (2 boys 11 & 13) to stay here! Ivan, our delightful concierge, responded instantly to all of our inquiries, booked a couple of excursions for us and messaged to check in on us as well. The house was beautiful, very comfortable and had everything we could have possibly needed. The washer/dryer came in handy at the end of our week. That VIEW. No words can adequately describe it - and the sunsets are jaw dropping. Saw toucans every day and howler monkeys "serenaded" us from all directions. As others have said, you need a 4x4 to get up the long winding bumpy road, which our family found very amusing! About 1/3 of the way up the road from the village, there is a delightful waterfall swimming hole "Poza Azul" with a rope swing that is frequented by the locals. We went to it a couple of times, and our boys loved it. There is so much more I could say about Villa Diamante, but just book it. You wont regret it. - Monica C.
