- e had a really great stay at Villa Serena. Our original accommodation had canceled on us the day our family was traveling to Costa Rica. Luckily we found this home available and Esteban (Paradise Management) was quick to respond. Oscar picked us up at Quepos airport, stopped at the grocery store so we could stock up on food, and gave us helpful info on the area as we drove to the Villa. We were able to check in early and even had a rental car delivered the same day. Oscar went above and beyond to make everything great for our trip and was excellent with communication during our entire stay, answering any questions we had as well recommending places to eat and visit. The house itself was amazing. Very convenient location to all beaches, several waterfalls and Dominical. Huge bedrooms. Great kitchen with everything needed to cook, a really large and pleasant covered patio and amazing pool. The ocean views were awesome and we felt comfortable and safe the entire trip. Heaven on Earth - We stayed at this property for 5 weeks! My heart ached a little when it was time to go home. The comments about needing a 4 wheel drive are accurate. Oscar, the best concierge in the world, helped me with renting a vehicle since I could not find whether the rental vehicles were 4 wheel drive on the websites. From the time I secured this house rental one year earlier, Oscar was always helpful, friendly and immediately responsive whenever I communicated with him. It was wonderful being greated every morning by yellow throated toucans and pendulum birds...more often than not a coatimunda strolling through the yard. Grunts from howler monkeys could be heard every morning and evening, though we never saw on the mountain. We did however, see capuchin monkeys 3 times...and lots of tropical birds and butterflys. Mostly I was charmed by Lizzie, a Jesus lizard (common basilisk). She likes hanging by the edge of the infinity pool and having the water wash over her feet. She is not real shy and I could be in the pool a foot away and she would just look a me curiously when I talked to her. The house....just lovely! There were not any spices or condiments left by previous renters so if you are going to stay a while, you might want to bring your favorite spices in a ziplock. Spices are pretty inexpensive though. Also, I would recommend bringing a few extra face cloths...one face cloth, bath towel and hand towel for each of 4 people, plus a pool towel. - Susan, M.

- Perfect location, great house, beautiful views, super responsive and helpful concierge. Only issue is that there is noise from the main road, but I think that is very common in Dominical and to avoid it you need to drive further into the mountains. - Travis, S.

Villa Serena - Our recent stay at Villa Serena met our expectations and more. The villa is exceptional and provided the perfect place for our group. Oscar, the concierge, was extremely helpful, arranging transportation, offering suggestions for dining and sightseeing, and went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. Clean, spacious, gorgeous views, and an amazing pool and whirlpool. The location was perfect and provided just a short drive to Dominical, Uvita, and Quepos. Amazing! - We had the best stay! The property was beautiful, rooms were comfortable and spacious. We loved sitting in the pool watching the most gorgeous sunsets every night.
